Bowmen of Guernsey

The Bowmen of Guernsey invite you to the inaugural Open FITA event to be staged in the Island.

Dates: 6th – 7th September 2008

Closing Date: Saturday August 30th, unless full

Round: Double FITA Star

Venue: Rovers A.C., Port Soif,
Guernsey, Channel Islands

Judges: TBA

Lady Paramount: TBA

There will also be a field shoot on Monday 8th September. 3D targets, unmarked distances. All bow styles welcome. It's just for fun!!

Prizes

Awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd, Ladies and Gentlemen, Compound and Recurve.
Other classes according to entry
Club team competition. Teams to consist of 3 compound and 3 recurve archers, male or female.
Distance awards and hidden score prizes.

Ł12.00 per single day, Ł20.00 for both.

This World record shoot will be liable for drug testing and competitors approached to give samples must comply. If they refuse, that refusal will be treated as a Positive result. Juniors must Provide written consent.
Dress regulations will be green and/or white according to GNAS rules. Club colours may also be worn. The long metric will be shot as 6 arrows in 4 minutes, the short metric as 3 arrows in 2 minutes. 2 Details per target, single faces only at the short metric.
If you require a full set of results after the event, Please send an addressed envelope (no stamp).
Will be available to discuss any Archery requirements.
Hot and cold food available all day. Clubhouse bar.
