Shooting Rules
It is also a good time to remind members of the procedure at the start of shoots. Please read the following carefully and remember it next time you shoot.
Arrive on Time
Competition shoots are assembly at 10.00am. Those that are late in future may not be allowed to shoot, or we may have to introduce a registration system which makes life difficult for everyone.
Help to set up
Set up the range and targets BEFORE your equipment. If you are not sure what to do, ask someone.
Count the archers
Outdoors - Normal shooting, no more than 4 archers on any target. Maximum of two archers on a blank boss. Only shoot 3 arrows at 30m and 50m if more than 2 archers on a target.
Help to pack away
Help to pack up all the range and targets BEFORE your own gear or checking scores.
The club is really trying to move forward at the moment. Our scores are improving, we have the biggest membership in memory and with our new sponsorship deal, we should all benefit.
The attitude of some people has already resulted in some members deciding not to shoot as often as they would like. Please don’t let the club down any more by taking more than you give. If everyone tried that little bit harder to help, we can stay the friendly club that we have always been.
